Disney World Character Autograph Books

So, yesterday, since it was spring break, my kids and I headed over to Fort Worth to spend the day with my cousin Summer and her boys.  While the boys played, we made Disney World Character Autograph Books for our kids.  Our families are going together to Disney World in May, so we thought this would be a fun thing for our boys to have.  It was a lot of fun to do together and they turned out really cute!

Just Call Me "Martha"

Landen's Kindergarten teacher had a baby in February, so he's had a permanent sub, Mrs. Harms, for the past 6 weeks.  This is her last week, so I thought it'd be nice to give her a little T-you gift from Landen.  He has really liked her.  So, I actually came up with my own craft (well, I kind of copied something else I've done) and it actually turned out pretty cute (if I do say so myself).  I always feel so proud of myself when my crafts actually turn out.  And this masterpiece was all done for under $5.  Frugal and crafty- a double whammy!

Celebrating Phil's 33rd B-day at the BYU/TCU Game

What better way for Phil to celebrate his birthday that with a BYU victory?  We headed over to Fort Worth on Saturday and went to the BYU/ TCU basketball game.  We started out the night going to Kincaid's (a really good burger joint in Ft. Worth) with my cousin Summer and her family, then went over to the game.  It was a lot of fun.  The two older boys really liked cheering for the Cougs.  Carter was a bit scared of all the noise, so I spent most of the game up at the top of the arena where it wasn't quite as loud.  Then, we ended the night with Braum's ice cream!  It was a fun night and hopefully a fun Birthday for Phil!  GO COUGARS!

Landen's 1st T-ball Game

This Saturday, Landen had his 1st T-ball game.  He did so great and had such a great time.  Landen said it was the "best day of his life!"  The best part was his uniform.  He just looked so dang cute in it!  Check it out!

The Swanky Pear!

My cousin just started her own website.  The Swanky Pear! http://swankypear.blogspot.com/  She is super creative and crafty and an awesome cook and interior designer.  (Anything that I do cute, crafty-wise, I pretty much steal from her). 


She is going to have Makeover Monday...which is when she will answer interior design questions (FYI- she's been an interior designer for 10 years and she's awesome!).  Wednesdays will be Craft Day and on Fridays she will post some of her favorite recipes.  Also, there's a great give a way going on right now- so check it out!

Bend it like "Nathan"

Nathan has started soccer. He has been begging us to play soccer for a while now and so I finally gave in and let him play. I have always thought that 3 years old was too early to play soccer and at his game this past Saturday, I was reminded of this fact again. But he is having a lot of fun and it is hilarious to watch.
