Carter is already 4 weeks old. It seems like we just had him and now he's a month old. Time sure does go by fast! In some ways though, that's a good thing. It's been a bit of a challenge trying to entertain Landen and Nathan this summer since Carter has joined us. They are used to going and doing things everyday: swimming, park, play place, etc , and with a newborn in the house, we've had to stop all that and kind of stay home. Needless to say, the older boys haven't liked that much. So, I'm glad that the summer is coming to an end and Landen will be starting school next week. He's very ready for it and so am I. Here's some pictures of what we've been up to the past month, as well as some pictures of Carter.
We had to get a bit creative on things to do- since it's been so hot. Here the boys are "painting the driveway". (Thanks Misty for the idea.) Landen was upset he couldn't paint with "real" paint. Sorry- never going to happen!
Playing in the backyard on the Slip N' Slide. Today, they got creative with some friends and brought the slide from our swing set (that is yet to be put back together from the move) and put it at the start of the Slip N' Slide. They thought it was great fun!Phil's parents came down when Carter was 5 days old to help us out and stayed for a few days. It was great to have them here. We put them to work cooking for us and entertaining the older boys. Here they are with all three of their Philip Gee grandsons.

Our attempt at a family picture. This is the best we could get- sad, but true. (I look horrible in this- I had just gotten out of the shower and still had wet hair)

Looks like you have been busy! I think that Carter looks just like your dad, don't you? Except with dark hair, of course. How are you feeling? Not much time for you to recover from the delivery...right back into the swing of mommy to now 3 boys.
I totally understand the need to keep the boys entertained. We have been so busy all summer and I can not wait for Cameron to get to school either! I am ready for a good ol' winter hibernation!
I love the pictures of Carter. He has so much hair- I love it! He is really darling! You are certainly becoming a "Super mom"!!
Painting the driveway! Brilliant.
And you do not look horrible in that picture, silly.
We haven't even tried to get a family picture...that's sad.
Carter is adorable and I love your baby announcements!
