Heard Dinosaur Museum

Today, we went to the Heard Dinosaur Museum.  It was perfect weather for it and the boys really liked seeing the Dinosaurs.  Nathan has really been in a Dinosaur kick lately.  He loves Dinosaur Train and Dino Dan on TV and is constantly telling me facts about different dinosaurs.  So, he especially loved it!

Carter with the Tarantulas, Landen and Nate by the Stegosaurus, and Landen with the cockroaches.  Eeeek!

Don't know if you can tell in this pic, but the dinosaur behind us is killing and eating the other one.  Nice clean fun!

Last the best!

Landen'n's 1st Grade Thanksgiving Play

Last Friday was Landen's 1st Grade Thanksgiving Play.  They told the story of the first Thanksgiving.  Landen was "Pilgrim 3".  He was really nervous for his part (see pictures), but he did his lines great.  After the play, they had a Thanksgiving Feast back in his classroom.

The "stage" with the scenery.  Landen is in front of the grave yard one because unfortunately he doesn't survive the winter and dies in the play.

 Looks a little nervous.

Landen saying his part. (turn your speakers up really loud to hear.  It's really quiet!)

 Singing their Thanksgiving song.

 What a cute pilgrim!

Landen and his teacher, Mrs. Whaley

The food at the feast!  Most of the Thanksgiving meal staples are there.  If you look closely, you can see there is sushi.  Funny story:  Landen's teacher assigned each family to bring something for the feast.  She assigned an Asian family to bring rolls.  So, they brought the sushi (California spring ROLLS).  Ha ha!

Halloween 2010

I really should have Phil doing this post, since I wasn't around for any of our Halloween festivities.  I had to fly, last minute, to Midland to be with Mom.  She was in ICU.  So, Phil was a super dad and braved the ward Trunk or Treat all on his own.  I'm sure he "loved" every minute of it!  Two sugar high boys, a sick baby and lots of people- what's not to love?
Landen- a Ghoul, Nathan- a skeleton, and Carter- batman

Got to love the Ghoul in flip flops!
This was Carter at the trunk or treat!  Poor guy was not feeling good.

Nathan's Preschool Field Trip- Pumpkin Patch

Nathan's preschool went to the pumpkin patch last week.  Carter and I tagged along.

 That's a lot of denim!
 Feeding a Texas Longhorn.

Nate took this pic of me and Carter. Not too bad!
Of course, the boys found this!
 Carter waving (and yelling).
Nate on the hayride.  It was cold that day.
