Updated Pictures

One of the laurels in our ward (and the boys babysitter) asked if she could take pictures of the boys for a school photography project.  So, we went over to Bethany Lakes Park and the boys modeled for her.  She took some really cute pictures.  Here are some of my favorites.

 Landen- 7 years old

 Nathan- 5 years old

 Carter- 2 years old

We got some new family pictures taken at our family reunion in July.

When the boys fight...

I just had to put this picture on our blog because it is priceless.  My friend Misty McKenzie gave me this idea and we've been using is A LOT this summer.  When the boys fight, they have to sit on the bottom step and hold hands for 5 minutes.  They HATE it!  But, I LOVE it!

Road Trip to Midland

At the beginning of August, Leah and I decided to pack up the kids and take a road trip to Midland to visit my parents for a few days.  Here are some pics from our trip.

Playing at the park

My mom was such a fun grandma and bought some fun crafts for the kids to do.  They made necklaces and bracelets and painted wooden (Pinewood Derby type) cars.  Thanks to Grandpa Matt for putting them together (all 48 pieces).

We went to a fun swimming pool in Odessa while we were there.  This was a big hit!  Landen and Nathan just went down the water slide over and over and over again.

Making sugar cookies with Nana

Nana reading the older grandkids (the ones that will sit still) a book.  I think this is such a cute picture!

One of the main things I wanted to do while we were in Midland was drive to Fort Stockton (about 2 hours away) to visit my Bigmama and Bigpapa's graves and put some flowers on them.  I haven't been to see them since Bigmama's funeral- about 7 years ago.
 Bigmama and Bigpapa's Great Grandchildren

Me and my boys by their grave

Me, my mom and Leah by the grave.  The flowers we brought were fake because NOTHING will grow there.  But, at least they are pretty.

Nathan got a hold of my camera and had fun taking pictures while we were reminiscing about Bigmama and Bigpapa.  Here are some of his pictures.  I think he basically got one of everyone.  The grave in the picture is Gan's- my great grandma.

THIS picture is the BEST!  Nate took a pic of himself.  What is that face???  I love it!  Who makes that kind of face when they do a self picture?  Only Nate would!
