Summer Fun!

How do you entertain 6 boys at your house on a hot summer day?  ShAvInG cReAm FiGhT, sNoW cOnEs, and SliP n' SLiDe!!!

Houston Children's Museum

For the 1st official day of summer, we decided to make it an exciting one.  The boys and I all flew down to Houston for the day and met Leah and her girls there.  We went to the Houston Children's Museum.  It is an awesome museum!  The boys loved it!  Afterwards, we went over to the galleria and met my cousin Melanie and went to Cheesecake Factory for lunch and threw her a baby shower.  Then, the boys and I flew back to Dallas.  It was an exciting day and not something we do very often.  But, with Dad working for Southwest Airlines, sometimes we need to take advantage of those flight benefits!

Landen's 1st Grade End of Year Party

For Landen's End of Year party, we had an ice cream sundae party.  Here is Landen at his desk enjoying some ice cream and having fun with his friends.

He has really loved 1st grade this year.  He's had a great teacher and a great class.  He will miss them over the summer!
